Then to Now: Evolution of the Artist

Facebook Memories are so filled with mixed emotions. The other day I had a sticky note drawing of a frog. Then I remembered .... I used to start all my clipart (for product that I would never sell directly) on sticky notes.

Let's take a look back.

My process to go from pencil to finished product was a multi-step process. Each coloring page started as pencil, darkened with an illustrator pen, erased most of the pencil, scan, clean up edges, assemble product.

My process is now draw ... on iPad, save, assemble. Seriously. It is a GAME CHANGER.
I am sitting here with at least 6 books ready to assemble and publish. I hope you enjoyed this look back!

Are you sitting there wondering if my coloring pages are as fun as they seem to be? Well get yourself my sample book! Just drop your name and email in the sidebar form and it will be sent directly to your inbox!

So Zombie Girls there .. yeah, I love her. She is way more detailed than most things I color. I find her to be a challenge. I find her to be fun. I find her shared in way, way too many free coloring whatnots.
Pinterest and Google Searching are not the only culprits of hosting stolen art. There are plenty of "Free Coloring Book Sites" full of art that probably shouldn't be there. If you can't find the artist's name ther…
